Jump 201: Speed, Scale, & Gap Progression

Adult Intermediate/Advanced Course | Ultra-Exclusive 3:1 Rider-to-Coach Ratio

You understand the physics of jumping, and you can comfortably clear standard trail features. Now, it’s time to conquer the next two variables holding you back from total trail confidence: high speed and serious distance.

Jump 201 is a strong intermediate-to-advanced course specifically engineered to help you relax at speed and build the psychological comfort required for larger gaps. With an ultra-exclusive 3:1 rider-to-coach ratio, this session is tailored for riders ready to scale up their technique on a massive, professional-grade setup.

📐 The Next Level: Scaling the Environment

We are stepping away from the micro-ramps and moving to an advanced, heavy-duty training laboratory designed to simulate high-consequence trail features with a massive safety margin:

  • The Launch: We utilize a massive 5.5-foot adjustable ramp paired with a professional trailer roll-in. This allows us to generate exact, repeatable speeds without exhausting you on the climb, so every ounce of energy goes into your technique.

  • The Landing: A heavy-duty impact airbag featuring an 8-foot case guard creates a substantial, realistic ramp transition starting point of 10 feet.

  • The Progression: We don’t just throw you into the deep end. We start at a comfortable baseline and incrementally work our way up, building the speed and leverage necessary to confidently clear gaps of 18 feet or greater.

🧠 The Methodology: High-Velocity Comfort

At this tier, the modality shifts from basic mechanics to neurological adaptation. When gaps get larger, the natural human instinct is to tense up. We teach you how to remain fluid, maintain a neutral posture under high g-forces, and mentally process the trail moving at a faster rate.

Through our on-site, large-screen slow-motion video feedback, we will analyze the fine margins of your timing, pressure, and flight path—ensuring your form stays flawless as the stakes get higher.

What to Expect

  • Precision Coaching: With only 3 riders per class, your progression plan is highly individualized.

  • Speed Management: Learn to embrace velocity, manage your speed check zones, and master the art of the high-speed compression.

  • Gap De-escalation: By breaking an 18-foot gap down into predictable speed increments over an airbag, your brain stops seeing a "scary gap" and starts seeing a simple, achievable math equation.

Mandatory Gear Requirements:

  • Full-face helmet and knee pads are strictly required for this course.

  • Flat pedals are required (Coach Robbie has a loaner set ready for you if need them!).

(Prerequisite: Comfortable completion of Jump 102 or equivalent jumping experience. Riders must be confident controlling their bike at higher speeds.)

Reach out with any questions.
